Nicole Faraday is an award winning television, film and theatre actress best known for her portrayal of Snowball Merriman, the glamorous murderess in two series of ITV's smash-hit television series BAD GIRLS, also recently rescreened on CBS. She is also familiar as former series regular Dr Heather Lincoln in BBC's CASUALTY, and most recently as man-eater Veronica in ITV's EMMERDALE.

Nicole played the lead female role in both Kill Kane opposite Vinnie Jones in 2016, and recently opposite Martin Trenaman and Nick Moran in new comedy feature "Ask the Cheat" to be premiered at Cannes May 2018.

The feature film TOP DOG, which won Best Picture and several acting awards at the British International Film Festival 2014 in which she played the role of Dawn was screened at Cannes,several UK cinemas and is currently available on SKY movies Premiere.

Previous television credits include DOCTORS, KINGDOM, THE BILL, BAD GIRLS-MOST WANTED, TIME GENTLEMEN PLEASE, 'ORRIBLE, AGONY, SURREALISM, CATHEDRAL, the role of Jerry Hall in THE MICK JAGGER STORY and Amanda Slaughter in cult internet drama PANTRY MANOR. Films include the feature BAD GIRLS THE MUSICAL (leading role of Shell Dockley),THE NEIGHBOURS (with Lynn Lowry, release due 2016) THE LOCKE INN, 8ISH, CHAIR TO RENT, JACQUELINE ESS, MISUNDASTOOD, GRANDMA'S FUNERAL, UNTOLD STORIES, TRIZONERS, THE EMPTY MIRROR, LAST TANGO IN CROYDON and A FINE WINE.

Nicole has appeared as a guest on several primetime TV shows -including GMTV, 5 LIVE!, THIS MORNING, LOOSE LIPS, NIGHTFEVER, SMTV, THE TERRY AND GABY SHOW and as a discussion panellist on ITV's LOOSE WOMEN.

Nicole trained in musical theatre at the Guildford School of Acting and she regularly performs her acclaimed cabaret with live band in prestigious venues such as Pizza Express Live at the Pheasantry, Battersea Barge, Southill Park, Worthing Ballroom, Proud Cabaret, Lauderdale House and has sung with Frank Renton's 22 piece orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall several years running for the TV Times "CAROLS WITH THE STARS" in aid of Leukaemia Research.

Other theatre work includes Avalyn in the award winning MYSTERIOUS SKIN, Blanche Dubois in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE and Dr Harri Jekyll in JEKYLL AND HYDE, Madame in THE MAIDS, THE PRO's, THE CONS AND A SCREW at Derby Playhouse, AN AUDIENCE WITH THE MAFIA at the Apollo, NOT QUITE 'IT' at the Soho Theatre, BRIGHT at the Royal Court, HOGARTH at the Bridewell, THE LENNY BEIGE SHOW, NEWSREVUE, MEASURE FOR MEASURE, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST,SLEEPING BEAUTY at the Theatre Royal Norwich, Marilyn in MARILYN THE MUSICAL at Greenwich, WEST END GIRLS at the Jersey Opera House, and the BKL tour of THANKYOU FOR THE MUSIC as Agnetha.2014 marked Nicole's third UK tour as Eva Cassidy in the number one touring production OVER THE RAINBOW, performing to standing ovations throughout the UK and Ireland.

Nicole originated the role of Shell Dockley in BAD GIRLS-THE MUSICAL with a successful run at the West Yorkshire Playhouse and subsequently Garrick theatre for which she won the award for Best Supporting Performance at the prestigious TMA awards 2006, and was a nominee for best supporting actress at the WOS Theatregoers Choice Awards 2007/8. She performed at the awards at the Lyric Theatre and features on the original West End cast album and DVD of BAD GIRLS-THE MUSICAL.
